Mayweather vs Mosley - Mayweather battled his first ever professional fight last October 11, 1996 against his fellow newcomer Roberto Apodaca who was knocked out in the 2nd round. Mayweather's trainer at the time was his uncle Roger since his father Floyd Sr. was still imprisoned after having been convicted of illegal drug trafficking in the year 1993.
Mayweather, Sr. took over as his son's trainer after his release from prison. From 1996 to early 1998, Floyd won most of his fights by amazing knockout or TKO.
